INGLEWOOD, Calif. -- Los Angeles Rams quarterback Baker Mayfield is active Thursday night against the Las Vegas Raiders -- less than 48 hours after he landed in L.A. after being claimed off waivers Tuesday -- but John Wolford got the start.
Sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Thursday that the Rams wanted to see how Wolford's neck responded during pregame warm-ups before making a final decision on a starter, with Mayfield being expected to start if Wolford wasn't healthy enough to play.
Wolford took all the team snaps during warm-ups before it was determined he would start.
